For over 15 years, people have regularly approached us while we detected recreationally, to ask for help finding their lost items. Lost Treasures originally began as a recovery service in 2009, after our owner identified a need for reuniting lost precious items with their owners. If you need a lost item recovered, you've come to the right place. Whether it's the ring you lost in the backyard while gardening, or perhaps a necklace you love that came off while swimming - if you've lost it, we'll find it!
We can detect nearly all ground surfaces, and water up to 1.5 metres. We also have access to Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) down to 4.5 metres, Service Locator Sonar down to 6 metres, and scuba is available with notice if you have lost something in water deeper than 1.5 metres.

Lost Treasures is based in Everton Park, on the Northside of Brisbane and can service the following areas:

If you are outside of this zone, we do take special requests on a case-by-case basis and we also have access to an Australia-wide network of detectorists, so please contact us to discuss further.
Rates and Charges
We charge a call-out fee based on location (that includes the first 30 minutes of detecting) and then charge in 30-minute blocks. Recovery jobs that are complex in nature, require specific hardware or have special requirements may need to be quoted separately.
Brisbane - $150 call-out fee (including first 30 minutes) and $40 per 30-minute block.
Logan - $175 call-out fee (including first 30 minutes) and $40 per 30-minute block.
Ipswich - $175 call-out fee (including first 30 minutes) and $40 per 30-minute block.
Gold Coast - $250 call-out fee (including first 30 minutes) and $40 per 30-minute block.
Sunshine Coast - $250 call-out fee (including first 30 minutes) and $40 per 30-minute block.
Toowoomba - $250 call-out fee (including first 30 minutes) and $40 per 30-minute block.
Machine Hire
